First Lady of Germany Elke Büdenbender and Opera Artistic Director Per Boye Hansen in interview

On the occasion of the state visit of the German presidential couple to the Czech Republic, the First Lady of Germany, Mrs. Elke Büdenbender, also visited the building of the State Opera in Prague. After a welcome by Jan Burian, Director General of the National Theater, and Per Boy Hansen, Artistic Director of the Opera, who guided her through newly renovated Opera building – the former New German Theater – an unique hour-long concert followed. Concert compiled from work by Czech and German women composers is also a teaser for the next theatre season.
