"Der ferne Klang" team has made a statement on the Russian military operation against Ukraine

Dear Friends, Dear Colleagues!

We are shocked and devastated by the news of the military operation in Ukraine that Russia has launched! Being in Prague these days, we feel especially strongly about all the disastrous and long-term consequences of such actions of our country in the past. We do not support this decision of our government and we are against war in any form. Violence and aggression in today's world can only increase political conflicts. We express our deep compassion to all the victims of the hostilities and call on the Russian authorities to return the situation to the field of diplomatic negotiations.
